Helpful Definitions

Stamp Description Abbreviations:

MNH = Mint never hinged

SA = Self Adhesive

MH = Mint hinged

MLH = Mint lightly hinged

MNG = Mint no gum

NGAI = No gum as issued

S/S = Souvenir Sheets

M/S = Minisheet

FDC = First day cancel or first day cover

IMP = Imperf

OVPT = Overprint

SCHG = Surcharge

SON = Sock on nose cancel (centered)

WMK= Watermark

KGV = King George V

We use Scott numbers on most of our items. Occasionally we will post other catalog numbers when available or when Scott does not reference the stamp.

We use our stock images on many of our modern mnh stamps. The stamps will be in the condition stated. Serial numbers, if present, may be different.
